And what do we do with those dollars, you ask??
• Some of them stay with the Community Foundation to help strengthen our organization for years to come. A LONG-TERM STRATEGY is a key ingredient of our mission.
• We hold events in downtown Spencer (that's our mission area!) to bring both residents and visitors to our Historic Courthouse Square. Those residents and visitors enjoy our events and also visit local businesses. SUPPORTING LOCAL BUSINESSES is a key ingredient of our mission.

• We maintain the Railroad Beds (along Franklin Street) and the Sidewalk Gardens (along Main and Market) in downtown Spencer. BEAUTIFYING DOWNTOWN is a key ingredient of our mission.
• We purchased and maintain the hanging flower baskets all around the Historic Courthouse Square. Volunteers water those baskets three times a week, unfailingly, for six months of the year. BEAUTIFYING DOWNTOWN . . . !
• We champion the care and upkeep of our beautiful historic buildings, and we celebrate the hard-working people who own or lease those buildings so that we can all dine and shop! HISTORIC PRESERVATION and RESPECT FOR OUR HERITAGE are key ingredients of our mission.
• We value each and every supporter, volunteer, and dues-paying member because "it takes a village...." We can't do it alone. But no matter what, we'll keep doing it because a vital downtown is GOOD FOR EVERYONE.
